Zen like installation piece by Daniel Palacios.
I’m a book lover, as most of you know, and Alexander Korzer-Robinson has been doing some great and awesome things.
Love this kind of visual narrative and craftmanship.

Ok, if you haven’t heard about the story about L.A. graffiti artist Saber, now is a time to catch up and hear the story from the artist himself!
Saber if you are hearing this, stay strong!!!
For me the best part for me was able to go to Hamburger Bahnhoff, the modern art museum in Berlin. Absolutely loved it!
I’m a sucker for Warhol!!! One of his huge pieces of Mao.
Just a little news clipping of the artshow I was part of. The reviews of the show wasn’t that great, but hey, can’t complain, at least the art critique likes the work I showed!
Even I’m not in Hong Kong, I’m happy to be asked to be a part of a show there. It’s curated by my buddy EC, and I have a couple of other buddies in the show with me, like Simon Birch and Evan Chan. If you are around in Hong Kong in June, do drop by and take a look!!! Thanks!!!
Was poking around the web, looking at fine art stuff for some needed inspiration, came across this artist which I quite like.
Artist: Lam Wai Kit
Title: The Divided Minds 14
Work of ATYPYK… Love this idea… Legal or not… It’s a fun way of reinterpreting or reimagining the dollar bill.
This year’s Mastermind 2009 show. My buddy Wylie is graduating this year and will be in the show. If you are in Hong Kong in June 13-27 then go check it out, it’s free admission!!!
I went to the Saatchi Gallery last month and forgot to blog about it. It was near Chinese New Year, so they had a contemporary Chinese theme in the gallery. There were some neat works on display.
Richard Colman’s Strange Playing Card-Inspired Painting. Love these pieces. He has a solo show at the White Walls Gallery in San Francisco. I don’t know if it ended yet though. Click on the photo to see more info about him and his work!
While at Gough Street shooting some restaurants interior, next to it was Art Statements. They had the Yoshitaka Amano Exhibition going on. Extended till November 20th. So if you are in Hong Kong head over to Sheung Wan, find Gough street and the make a left at the first street you see, there is a “dai pai dong” there or make a left on the second street and you can get in from the back!!! The second street is Shin Hing Street I think. Click here to go to the gallery’s link!
